Ingredients
1 loaf of bread from the previous day
1 liter of milk
3 eggs
¼ kg. of sugar
1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder
Grated 1 lemon
Oil for frying torrijas
Elaboration
The loaf of bread is cut into slices and placed in a shallow dish covered with milk and lemon scraps, and given a couple of turns to soak them well; then they are passed through beaten egg taking care so that they do not break; then fry in oil until golden brown.
They are left on a plate covered with absorbent kitchen paper and finally placed on a tray sprinkled with the mixture of sugar and cinnamon (3 parts of sugar for 1 of cinnamon)
Note: They can also be sprinkled with syrup or sweet wine.
